How to Request Deletion

1. Open Flavr: Recipes & Meal Planning and sign in to your account.
2. Go to Profile > Settings > Manage Account.
3. Select Delete Account and confirm the request.
4. If you cannot access the app, email from your account email address with the subject line: Account Deletion Request.

Processing Timeline

• We may verify your identity before processing the request.
• Most deletion requests are completed within 30 days.
• If we need additional information, we will contact you by email.

Data Deleted

• Account and identity records: Account profile (name, username, avatar, and email if stored), account preferences, and authentication/sign-in metadata tied to your account.
• Recipes and planning content: Recipes, meals and meal-planning items, cook logs and history, recipe interactions, and related metadata tied to your account.
• Social and community content: Friend relationships and requests, feed entries, comments, likes, notifications, feature votes or suggestions, and shared-recipe records tied to your account.
• Usage and app activity tied to your account: Search and view activity, assistant usage logs, active-day and activity tracking, push tokens, and user settings.
• Local device data: Local-only data stored on your device that was never synced becomes inaccessible after sign-out and account deletion.

Data Retained and Retention Periods

• Support correspondence: Support email correspondence may be retained for service quality, legal compliance, security, and recordkeeping purposes.
• Storage/media cleanup timing: User-scoped media files in cloud storage are processed for deletion daily after account deletion, and cleanup is generally completed within 30 days.
• Extended legal retention: Where required, we may retain limited records longer to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce legal rights.
